Michał Szymański

A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics with a major in finance and banking. PhD in Economics, licensed investment advisor, CFA. He has 25 years of experience in the capital market, particularly in the area of asset management. Co-founder of the now Alior Investment  Fund Company (TFI) and its President of the Board for many years; previously held positions such as Chief Investment Officer and President of the Board at Aviva Pension Fund Company. He also worked at ING Investment Management and in the portfolio management department of Creditanstalt Securities. He has held the position of CEO of VIG / C-QUADRAT TFI S.A. since May 2020, i.e. since the establishment of the company as part of the VIG and C-Quadrat capital groups.




Aleksandra Kik
Member of the Board

A graduate of the Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw. She has over 10 years of experience as a capital markets expert. Certified project manager and risk analyst. Since 2005, associated with the investment fund companies Union Investment TFI, and then Generali Investments TFI, where she was responsible for the optimization of processes and business analysis, finance and strategic development. In 2020, she was appointed Member of the Management Board of VIG / C-QUADRAT TFI S.A.

Harald Riener
Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Harald Riener graduated from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. In 1998 he joined Vienna Insurance Group, where he worked in the field of marketing until 2001. After working for a media publishing house, he took the position of Vienna Insurance Group Marketing Manager. From 2010, he was a member of the managing Board in Croatia, and from 2012 he took the position of CEO. At present he is a Member of the Board of Vienna Insurance Group, responsible for Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland and Ukraine.


Andreas Wimmer
Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board

He graduated from the Vienna University of Economics. For many years he has been professionally involved in media sector. Since 2001 he has been a member of C-Quadrat Investment AG´s Management Board, where he is responsible for Pension Fund Asset Management, corporate communication and the development of new markets i.e. in Poland, Armenia and Georgia. He also holds the position of Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of CQ AMPEGA AM in Armenia.


Marek Belka
Member of the Supervisory Board

He graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Sociology at the University of Łódź. Professor of economics, former Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, former Minister of Finance, former President of the National Bank of Poland. He performed important functions in the international arena, incl. as director of the Department of the European International Monetary Fund or Chairman of the World Bank Development Committee. He is a member of the Supervisory Board of Vienna Insurance Group.



Günther Kastner
Member of the Supervisory Board

Günther Kastner is founder, managing partner and CIO of Impact Asset Management GmbH (Former C-Quadrat Asset Management  GmbH). Before founding the company, which today belongs to the C-Quadrat Group, he was a member of the Management Board and Head of Portfolio Management (CIO) at Vienna Portfolio Management AG. He has over 25 years of experience in asset management.



Carlos Mendez de Vigo
Member of the Supervisory Board

He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Economics at the University of Madrid and holds an MBA from Columbia University, NY. He gained over 20 years of experience in investment banking and finance at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Barcalys Bank in London, where he was responsible for risk management and ratings. In 2017, he joined C-QUADRAT Investment AG as Finance Director (CFO).


Gerald Weber
Member of the Supervisory Board

A graduate of banking and IT studies in Graz, Austria. For over 30 years he has been associated with the financial and capital market on many levels. He started his career as a manager of open-end funds. Since 2003, he has been involved in insurance companies and pension funds of the VIG group. Since the end of 2007, he has been the Managing Director (CIO) of Vienna Insurance Group.
